Passport York authenticates you as a member of the York community and gives you access to a wide range of computing resources and services. If you don’t yet have a Passport York account, you are encouraged to get one.
How do I get it?
Most faculty and staff will already have a Passport York account. If you do not yet have a Passport York account, send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org from your York email address to request one. The request must include your full name and your employee number. (If you do not have or cannot access your York email account, your faculty/department Administrator or Computer Coordinator can submit the request on your behalf.)
The Helpdesk will send you a message with your Passport York username and a temporary password, which you must change the first time you log in to Passport York.

On February 8, 2012, Passport York became a single login point to access most York University computing services and resources. Services that used to require separate logins are now consolidated, accessible through Passport York. Updating your Passport York account to single login will simplify your access to the services you use.

- Classroom Equipment Ordering System (CEO)
- Glendon Campus Classroom Equipment Ordering (GEO)
- Passport York-protected web pages or websites
Note: @yorku.ca email accounts do not require Passport York login.
